Are you looking forward to a little girl or a little boy? I am looking forward to a healthy baby! However, I do have an inkling of the sex. In two weeks, we will know for sure whether my intuition is correct.

Are you one of those parents who'd do up their newborn's nurseries? What would it look like, and would it depend on whether the baby's a girl or a boy? We have already made plans to convert the guest room into a nursery. As for a colour scheme, we are looking at something gender neutral. A lot of soft greys, greens and yellows make up the current palette.

Do you have a head full of baby names? Any standouts? Not just yet, but there are some names we prefer over others. All will be revealed in due time.

What are you most excited about, with having a new baby in your life? I am excited to see my partner experience fatherhood for the first time.

How involved of a parent would you say you are, or would be? I am very involved and would consider myself a hands on parent, but there comes a point where one has to let go of the reins. I want my children to feel safe and secure, but to also have the freedom and the confidence to follow their own hearts.

If you could fix one world problem, what would it be? Poverty.

If your home was on fire and you only had time to grab 3 things, what would they be? My mother's pendant, my father's letters and my daughter's baby shoes.

If you had three wishes, what would they be? I would put an end to misogyny, racism and bigotry.

If you could wake up tomorrow and have gained one ability, what would it be and why? I would like to be able to see into the past and to see it as clearly as if I were watching a film.

Which one fits you better? "Live for the moment", or "Save the best for last"? Live for the moment.

What's your favorite thing about yourself? My resilience.

Would you consider yourself an externally motivated or internally motivated person? Internally motivated. Though, it was the opposite when I was younger.

How do you deal with failure? I allow myself the time to mourn and learn any lessons from the setback. Then I move on.

What would you consider a perfect day? It would be at the height of summer. Those long, luxuriant days that seem to never end. I would be surrounded by water and flowering plants, enjoying good company, music and food.

What are some things that offend you? Intolerance. Cat-calling. The patriarchy.

What inspires you? Women. Life. Love.

What are three things you are willing to splurge on for yourself? Shoes. Lipstick. Jewellery.

Do you believe in soulmates? I didn't. Now I'm not so sure.

What would you do if you woke up tomorrow and it was 13 years in the past and you were your younger self but still had your current memories and experiences? I would simply do it all again, perhaps with a little less stress knowing how things will turn out.

What three events made the biggest impact on who you are today? My mother's passing, my father's passing and Zuri's birth.

If you had to choose one cause to dedicate your life to, what would that cause be? Education for girls.

When you are day dreaming, what do you dream about? I am not much of a daydreamer, but I think a lot about tropical beaches.

What’s the best part of your day? Waking up to my partner and sharing breakfast together before the rest of the household wakes.

you're living in a fairytale. what are you wearing, who or what's at your side and is there a happily ever after before the end I would wear a dress, light-weight and soft to touch. My family would be with me, including those that I've lost and reuniting with my mother would be my happily ever after.

what in your opinion's the best way to get the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth out of someone? Seduction?

what music do you play when you're at the gym? A lot of dance music, mostly from the 90s and early 2000s like La Bouche. Do you remember them?

favorite memory? Holding my daughter in my arms for the first time.

favorite book? movie? show? Brooklyn by Colm Tóibín. Little England. And the Great British Bake Off.

favorite song? It is a Greek song, by Glykeria, my mother's favourite singer. It translates to "If I only could" and is about a woman trying to forget a turbulent love affair with the one who broke her heart.

three things you would take with you on a desert island: A book. A hunting knife. Sunglasses.

how do you feel about eggplants? Oh, I adore them.

what are you craving? Hazelnut gelato.

what's something you miss doing? Backbends! There's no room for them in pre-natal yoga.

do you believe in ghosts and aliens? why or why not? Yes. It is rather arrogant to assume we are alone in the universe.

which three songs do you know all the lyrics to? There are too many to name, but the first two that came to mind are from musicals, which is Zuri's influence. Satisfied from Hamilton, Dance of the Robe from Aida and Miss You Much by Janet Jackson. I happen to know all the dance moves to the last one too.

what sound drives you crazy? Screeching tyres.

what is the worst injury or illness you've ever had? I had a painful bout of Rubella when I was a child. I still have hints of the scars it left behind.

what are your five favorite english words? what are your five favorite greek words? My favourite English words would be: resplendent, articulate, coquettish, inimitable and capricious. And my favourite Greek words: (palikari) - a youth in his prime,(agapimenos) - beloved, (zaharoplasteio) - sweet shop, (philoxenia) - "guest-friendship"/hospitality and finally, (thalassa) - sea.

when is the last time you went to a zoo? I don't remember. It must be more than ten years.

what bores you? Braggarts.

what is your biggest regret to date? I don't have any regrets insofar as the decisions that I have made in my life, but I suppose there have been instances where I did not express myself as well as I would have liked.

what qualities do you dislike in people? Selfishness, idleness and arrogance.

what are two things you admire about your best friend? Her tenacity and her heart.

What random stranger has had the biggest impact on your life? The Athenian woman who took my mother and I in when I was a child.

What achievement are you proud of but most people would consider silly or weird? Whistling/hailing a taxi.

What period in history do you think had the best fashion? The early 1960s. The silhouettes were very feminine and chic. That said, I am a fan of the 80s power suit.

What would be your strategy for surviving an apocalyptic epidemic? I'm not sure. My first priority would be to find shelter and then to ration supplies.

What part(s) of your culture are you most and least proud of? I am proud of its history, the arts, democracy and philosophy. I am not proud of Greece's current economic and political state. In regard to England, I adore its literary forms, but I would like to forget Brexit.

What’s the worst and best thing about being female? How much we endure is my answer to both.

What is your greatest struggle with being a mother? Not having enough time to do everything.

What is your greatest reward with being a mother? Watching my daughter grow into a bright and fearless young woman.

When does time pass fastest for you and when does it pass the slowest? I feel as though the night passes too quickly. Time passes the slowest when I am awake to all of my senses in the moment. Love-making is very good for that.

What pictures or paintings have had a big impact on you? Depictions of ancient life have always interested me, whether neolithic cave paintings, fertility votives or more "modern" hieroglyphs. This fresco from Knossos of a Minoan woman is my favourite.

What movie or book character are you most similar to? Those who know me well might be better at answering this, but I have always been drawn to Scheherazade from A Thousand and One Nights.

What memory do you keep going back to because it's one you cherish so much? Any memory of my mother.

What are you most passionate about and what do you wish you were more passionate about? I am most passionate about my family. I wish I were more passionate about the things my daughter and partner enjoy but that I do not understand. Like Doctor Who.

What is the most unusual fear you have? I don't think it is that unusual, but I choked quite violently on my food once and some of that fear has carried into adulthood.

What’s the biggest lesson life has taught you? That life goes on and tomorrow's fears become yesterday's problems.

Would you rather be transported permanently 500 years into the future or 500 years into the past? I would always choose the past.

Would you rather have an unlimited international first class ticket or never have to pay for food at restaurants? An unlimited international first class ticket. I never tire of travel.

Would you rather super sensitive taste or super sensitive hearing? Taste. The hearing would be difficult to contend with.

Would you rather know the history of every object you touched or be able to talk to animals? I would prefer to know the history of every object that I touched. It would come in very handy in my line of work.

Would you rather have to read aloud every word you read or sing everything you say out loud? I am not the world's best singer, so I would rather read every word aloud. It would be gentler on the vocal cords.

What is the longest word you know? Sesquipedalianism - the tendency to use long words.

What’s your hidden talent? I am a championship fencer and equestrian.

Have you gone in to a room and forgotten why? Now you're just teasing me. Yes, I have pregnancy brain. Yes, I keep forgetting what I am doing and where I am on a daily basis. Are you quite happy now?

Would you rather lose the ability to read or lose the ability to speak? This is a difficult question to answer, considering how much I love my books. However, I would rather lose the ability to read. Women are silenced so often that actively choosing to be silent -- unless one is making a statement -- seems inappropriate.

Would you rather have skin that changes color based on your emotions or tattoos appear all over your body depicting what you did yesterday? I would rather skin that changes colour based on my emotions. The tattoos would be far too incriminating.

Would you rather randomly time travel +/- 20 years every time you fart or teleport to a different place on earth (on land, not water) every time you sneeze? What on earth is this question? I would rather teleport. The idea of simply moving from place to place is much easier to think about.

Which chocolate bar is most like you? Cadbury Twirl.

Which language would you like to learn? Icelandic.

Did you ever keep a New Year’s resolution? No, I never bother with those.

What’s the best thing that’s happened to you this week? Securing a wonderful space for the Charity Gala and launch of the new gallery.
